Day 18: 10/20/2008

20 seconds after leaving work I fell. This is the hand that wasn't holding my camera. I managed not to tear my jeans (this time), but I dinged up my baby (camera) pretty bad. I was/am so pissed at myself. To be clear, I fell, I did not trip, or slip in something. I have tha rare talent of spontaneously falling.

Day 15: 10/17/2008

Unfortunately, my kitchen has quite possibly, the worst lighting in the entire free world. This is me, testing the capacity of my Kitchen Aid, the biggest they make before being called "Hobart". This is the meringue you make before it becomes buttercream.

Day 16: 10/18/2008

I took a bunch of pix, of different things, but given the choice, I will always pick an adorable kid to post. So here he is, bundled up for a walk on Saturday, while his parents partied hard with some die-hard Ren-fair types.

Day 17: 10/19/2008
These are some of the pieces of silver I destroyed with my torch. See it there, lurking in the background, sometimes my BFF, and other times an enemy of my jewelry-making state?

day 11: 10/13/2008

I went to this little park near work to take some pics of the lake. This is a weird swan from a large group of them. Posted by Picasa

Three more days...

Day 8:
10/10/2008
This picture does not do this window display justice. Any of you Stephen King readers out there, does this remind you of a children's book that plays a part in the Gunslinger series? I will try this shot again, at night I think, because it deserves it.

Day 9:

10/11/2008

Lobstahhh out of her Pahhht...

My long suffering dog, Majeicka. She is always well rewarded for posing. She looks stressed in this picture because the lobster head part is scrunching her forhead into her eyes. That, and she doesn't want to take her eyes off me, on the off chance she will miss her release command.

Day 10:

10/12/2008

Self portrait with my superstar friend Bliss. We had a very long day of eating, shopping, laughing and talking. It is very tough being us.
